Statement from Elon Musk: "Tesla will deliver the Model Y to customers autonomously from June"

Tesla has been testing its Model Y self-driving cars in Austin, Texas, for several days now, and the model will be delivering autonomously to customers starting in June.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote about this on his X account.

"Tesla has been testing its Model Y self-driving cars on public streets in Austin for the past few days without any incidents. A month ahead of schedule. The first self-driving deliveries from the factory to the customer will be next month," he wrote in a post.

It should be noted that Elon Musk has repeatedly called self-driving technology the next important driver for Tesla's development, especially at a time when the company is facing a steady slowdown in car sales.
