German chancellor: "The world is in danger, we need to allocate more money to our army"

"The order of the world is in danger. Today, we need the German Armed Forces to be strong, no one should doubt that."

German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said this during his speech at the Bundeswehr conference.

He recalled that a few months after Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the Bundestag created a special fund worth 100 billion euros for the German army.

According to the chancellor, the German government wants to invest more in its armed forces in the next decade.

The chancellor added that the organizational and bureaucratic difficulties that have hindered the development of the troops for years should be eliminated soon.
