Coldyn Gay is set to step down as president of Harvard University, less than a month after his failed speech at a US Congressional hearing on anti-Semitism at the institution.
According to information, he will resign in these days.
Members of the Harvard Corporation, one of the university's governing bodies, will notify university partners by email. Gay is expected to make a separate statement later.
It is not known who will be appointed the temporary rector.
It is noted that Gay's tenure as rector will be the shortest in the history of Harvard University. So, he spent only six months in this position.
