Hamas asked Egypt for help
The radical movement of Palestine, Hamas, appealed to Egypt regarding the provision of roaming services in the Gaza Strip, where telephone communication and the Internet were cut off.
The representative of the movement, Fauzi Barhuman, said this in a statement broadcast on the official "Telegram" channel of the radicals.
"Israel cut off telephone and internet in the Gaza Strip. We call on Egypt to open roaming services on Egyptian networks," the statement said.
It should be recalled that on November 5, the Palestinian provider "Paltel" reported that telephone and Internet services were again suspended in the entire Gaza Strip. Jawwal, the second provider of communication services in Gaza, also released similar information.
It was reported for the first time on October 27 that the Internet, wired and mobile communications were completely shut down in the Palestinian enclave. "Paltel" and "Jawwal" said that the communications were damaged as a result of Israeli airstrikes, and because of this, it is no longer possible to provide services. On October 31, communications were restored after international organizations expressed concern about their inability to contact those remaining in Gaza.
