Foreigners who hunt illegally in Azerbaijan can be expelled from the country

Foreigners or non-citizens may be deported if they do not comply with hunting regulations.

The head of the State Environmental Security Service, Hikmet Alizade, said this in "Expert hour".

"Hunting permits for foreigners or stateless persons derive from the laws of our state and international conventions. They have the right to hunt as well as other citizens of Azerbaijan, provided they obey the laws. However, if hunting rules are not observed, they are fined accordingly, like other persons, the Code of Administrative Offenses, if the damage exceeds 1000 manats, measures are taken in accordance with the Criminal Code. We appeal to the relevant authorities to expel those foreigners from the country for disobeying the law. In the future, the issue of restricting their rights, that is, not allowing them to hunt again, is taken into account," the head of the Service emphasized.
