Azerbaijani karate players will compete in the world championship
18 athletes of the National Karate Federation operating under the Azerbaijan Karate Federation will participate in the world championship to be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
According to the information provided by the Federation, in the kumite competitions, Aminagha Guliyev (60 kg), Tural Aghalarzadeh (67 kg), Farid Aghayev (75 kg), Turgut Hasanov (84 kg), Asiman Gurbanli (+84 kg), Fidan Teymurova (50 kg), Madina Sadygova (55 kg), Renata Arabli (61 kg) and Irina Zaretska (68 kg) will test their strength.
Firdovsi Farzaliyev, Rafiz Hasanov (both 67 kg) and Murad Hajizade (+84 kg) will participate in the men's team competition. Karate fighters will fight in women's individual competitions.
Roman Heydarov will demonstrate his skills in kata.
In parakarate, the coaching staff will rely on Nihat Mammadzade, Eldar Ahmadov, Emilia Mitlinova, Khalikov Vidadi and Ariana Mitlinova.
